Apple has suffered another blow in their ongoing patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung Electronics Co.
Apple has previously filed to add the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone to the growing list of gadgets Samsung allegedly infringed against the Cupertino-based organization.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal made a decision. He ruled adding another device to the trial will be a "tax on the court's resources."
"Each time these parties appear in the courtroom, they consume considerable amounts of the court's time and energy, which takes time way from other parties who also require and are entitled to the court's attention," added Judge Grewal.
Apple has declined to comment on Grewal's ruling, however, Apple attorney Josh Krevitt stated that the exclusion of the Galaxy S4 "would require Apple to file a new lawsuit."
The second patent infringement trial, set for spring 2014, currently includes the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3, and Galaxy Note 2, to name a few.
Apple meanwhile has another patent issue to resolve concerning the U.S. imports of the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPad 2. The International Trade Commission (ITC) ruled to ban the devices after Samsung "proven" their case against Apple. The ban, so far, affects only AT&T, and it can be overruled by President Barack Obama.
As Latinos Post has been monitoring, Judge Koh reduced the $1.05 billion verdict of the first trial by 40 percent, or approximately $450.5 million. Apple was awarded the sum by a jury last August.
