A businessman in Los Angeles has begun to commercialize piñatas shaped like Jenni Rivera. The piñatas portray Rivera with her trademark look: loose hair, miniskirts and high heels. The piñatas have already caused anger among the singer's family and outrage among fans who took to Twitter to express their discontent.

"I won't talk much about it, everybody already knows what we think. Instead of attacking the family, people should be attacking those who are making money with Jenni's image" Pedro Rivera, the father of the "Diva de la Banda" said in a telephone interview with Univision.

"There's really nothing we can do about it, they are making money and they didn't even consult with us first," he added. "We can not fight, even though this is illegal. We can not take the law into our own hands, that's why there's a justice system. They call it a tribute to Jenni, but then they make 100 piñatas and sell them at 50 dollars. That's some tribute, huh?" the Rivera family patriarch concluded.

Yesterday, Jenni's sister, Rosie took to Twitter to express her feelings about the piñatas after some fans asked her about the matter.

"Jenni's not sad. She is at peace now. This is disrespectful to the children, parents, siblings and people who she loved that were left behind," Rosie wrote in response to a fan who commented that Jenni would have been sad because of the piñatas.

"I need the address of the business that is doing this, can anyone help?" Rosie tweeted.

One of Jenni's most notorious songs was "La Mentada Contestada," in which the singer made allusions to a piñata.
