Paulina Rubio turned 42 this week and celebrated with her fellow "The X-Factor" judges before heading to a Mexican beach resort to have a private party.
The "Golden Girl" celebrated with a big birthday cake that read "Happy Birthday Paulina." A piñata with Simon Cowell's face on it was also part of the celebration.
A long with Cowell, the Mexican singer shares the judges' table with Kelly Rowland and Demi Lovato, with whom she has had a great relationship despite rumors that stated the contrary. In fact, both Lovato and Rowland sang "Happy Birthday" and gave Rubio a chocolate cake on behalf of the whole production team.
After celebrating with her work team, Rubio left Los Angeles and headed for the Mayan Riviera where she invited her closest friends to join her and her son Andrea Nicolas.
Although they tried to go unnoticed, her friends could not resist sharing the moment on Twitter. Mexican fashion guru Oscar Madrazo wrote on his Twitter account: "Today is the birthday party of RU RU RU @paurubio #FelicidadesRatona :))))))))"
In another tweet shared by the former Mexico's "Next Top Model" host, Rubio appeared with her firstborn, who the star baptized during the weekend in a special Mayan ceremony.
