Viewers that tuned into the seventh week of the "La Voz Kids" saw more battle rounds and the elimination of 12 more singers.
The first battle of the night was between Hugo, Wendy, and Christian from Roberto Tapia's team. The three coaches gave the singers an ovation with Prince Royce stating that they were strong performers. Paulina Rubio enjoyed all three and said that Tapia had tough competition. Tapia had a hard time deciding but eventually picked Hugo over his other two teammates.
Kim, Axel and Andrea from Rubio's team then battled for a spot in the live shows. At the end of the performance the audience and coaches gave them a standing ovation. Tapia stated that Axel was a great performer while Royce said the three were wonderful. Rubio picked Kim because she felt Kim was the best of the three and she was magical on stage.
The following three performers were Jamil, Geoffrey and Ezquiel from Royce's team. Rubio congratulated the three singers and Royce for their work. Tapia enjoyed the performance and said it showed the true meaning of team work. Royce enjoyed the performers and said Jamil had changed a lot while Geoffrey had progressed in his singing. He congratulated his teammates and then announced that Geoffrey was the battle winner.
Jennifer, Alesiram, and Jessica from Rubio's team were the next three performers to duel. Tapia said he would love to see all three stay especially Jennifer. Royce said Alesiram had a special voice while Jessica was wonderful. Rubio loved all three singers but chose Jennifer at the end of the battle round.
The next battle round was between Valentina, Jeidimar, and Thais from Tapia's team. Royce said the performance was like a girl group. Rubio loved the performance and said that they captivated the audience. Tapia was divided on who to choose but eventually picked Jeidimar because her voice was incredible and secure.
The final battle round was contested by Kimberly, Sean, and Virginia from Royce's team. Rubio loved Virigina's stage presence and enjoyed Sean's interpretational skills. Tapia said Kimberly had incredible potential and congratulated Sean for his charisma. Royce was happy with the three performers but picked Sean.
At the end of the episode each team added two more singers to their squad bringing Rubio, Tapia and Royce to four singers.
The final battle round will be aired next week on Telemundo.
