Daniel Radcliffe admitted that he would like to be a villain in a James Bond movie.

The Harry Potter actor told "The Sun" that he could never do a lead role in an action film. He said, "I am never going to be cast to play a Bruce Willis character in Die Hard." However, Radcliffe admitted that he would be better suited for a villain role. He said, "I would make a much better villain than Bond - I am not nearly strapping enough to play Bond."

He added that he did not want to do any more iconic characters. He stated, "I've done one iconic character, that might be enough."

Radcliffe recently made headlines when he stated that he thought he would never win an Oscar. "I don't think (I'll get an Oscar), no. I don't think anybody takes a part and says 'I'm going to get an Oscar for this' if you do that there's something quite wrong with you," he stated.

Radcliffe is currently starring in the new play "The Cripple of Inishmaan" and will next be seen as Alan Ginsberg in the Sundance hit "Kill Your Darlings." He will also be seen in "The F Word," and "Horns."

James Bond 24 is rumored to be directed by "Skyfall" helmer Sam Mendes. The film will be produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson.

The latest Bond movie has not begun casting but Daniel Craig is currently in negotiations to reprise his role as agent 007 for the next two movies. Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw are also rumored to reprise their roles along with Naomie Harris.

Rumors have also surfaced that Penelope Cruz will be the next Bond girl; however the news has not been confirmed by her representatives or by the production.

John Logan is currently writing the new script for James Bond 24.
