A photo of Beyonce and Baby Blue Ivy has been creating a bit of a stir online.
An image recently uploaded to the R&B star's Tumblr account received negative reactions from various websites, saying that Beyonce is not setting a good example for mothers as the temperature of the hot tub may pose health risks on Baby Blue Ivy.
Everybody loves a mother and child moment, so when the 31-year-old star posted an image of her and her 17-month-old daughter snuggling in a hot tub, she expected to gain that 'aawww' reaction.
But amidst the seemingly adorable photo, a few websites could not help but voice out concerns over the child's health.
"Why on earth would any mom let their baby go in a hot tub? That just isn't safe!" says Mary Fischer from the The Stir.
Zap2it, on the other hand, goes straight to the point by saying that "Beyonce sets a terrible example for moms and babysitters everywhere by dragging her one-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, into a jacuzzi."
Notably, these reactions are actually backed up by scientific facts.
Livestrong says that "Your baby cannot regulate his body temperature well and can overheat in a hot tub quickly. Overheating can make him extremely uncomfortable and cause his heart to race. In some cases, overheating can cause death."
In 2010, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Randall Cunningham's three-year-old son drowned in a hot tub at the family's Las Vegas home.
The location where the photo was taken has not been disclosed, nor is the temperature of the hot tub. However, the photo continues to earn different reactions from readers across the Internet.
