In our ongoing segment on some of the top contenders for the 2013 Miss USA pageant, we take a look at the beautiful Chelsea Caswell. She is Miss Nevada and the hometown favorite in this year's pageant, which will be held Jun. 16 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Miss Nevada states that some of her favorite times are had watching football or on the gold course, where she claims to raise eyebrows by out-driving many men. She is also a self-described bargain shopper and notes that her one guilty pleasure is eating sour gummy worms.

Caswell is actually not a native to Nevada, instead moving there from her hometown of Evansville, Ind. to pursue a career in the hospitality business. After recently landing a job as a restaurant manager at the famous Wynn Las Vegas casino, it's safe to say that she is well on her way to achieving her dreams.
"In today's society, I am certain that knowing who you are as a woman can be one of the most powerful tools that you have," <a href="https://www.missuniverse.com/missusa/members/profile/656276/year:2013" target="_blank">she observes</a> when talking about realizing one's aspirations.

Miss Nevada says that the positive influence her family has had on her throughout her life has had a large impact on her success. She says that while she is thankful for all that they've done, she also realizes that it is her time to give back to others.

"Chelsea says she is blessed to have such an extensive support system of family and friends," <a href="https://www.missnevadausa.com/winner-miss.html" target="_blank">states her official online bio</a>. "The daughter of Andrea Burr and Walt Caswell, Chelsea has three younger siblings Chloe, Carly, and Crewz. As the eldest, she understands the power of being a positive role model and is excited to speak to the youth of Nevada about following their dreams and reaching their full potential."

Towards that end, Caswell has already committed to supporting numerous causes through her position as Miss Nevada. On top of speaking to Nevada's youth, she plans on advcating for Habitat for Humanity, disaster relief for Red Cross, and fundraising for Breast and Ovarian Cancer research.
