It's superhero season. Although summer may be right around the corner, it's overshadowed by the powerful influx of superheroes as they take over the big screen. Last month, Iron Man returned with the long awaited "Iron Man 3" and now it's Superman's turn. "Man of Steel" hits theaters this Friday and should prove to be one of the summer's biggest blockbusters. And let's not forget that the Wolverine is getting his own movie that's slated for a July 26 release. With all the superhero action, it's easy to lose track of those that aren't currently basking in the limelight.
Behind the scenes, Spider-Man continues to cast his web in anticipation of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" movie, which is set to hit theaters next May. A slew of cast interviews, set photos and videos have offered fans insider looks into the movie, and now Jamie Foxx revealed yet another intriguing tidbit that helps wet fans' appetites.
What's in a villain? A scary look, an evil mission and powers that match those of the hero. But what about the voice? It should be something that stays with you, that makes you cringe every time you here it. It should be a voice that haunts your dreams, one that people will imitate and recreate for generations. During his appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, Foxx shows off a few photos of his character Max Dillon as himself and transformed as Electro. The best part, however, is that he gives fans a preview of the villain's voice. Check it out in the video below.
In "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," for Peter Parker, life is busy - between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.
