The second trailer for Neil Blomkamp's "Elysium" will premiere on June 13.
Yahoo Movies' Twitter account debuted a new still of Matt Damon wearing an exoskeleton. The picture came with a message that stated, "Get ready for tomorrow's new trailer for #Elysium with an exclusive still of Matt Damon"
"Elysium" tells the story of a former criminal who lives on the surface of a future Earth where the rich have all moved to a space station in the sky called Elysium. While the 1 percent leaves a completely peaceful existence free of all violence and disease, the poor and middle classes still living on the planet struggle to survive. Things get bad for Max as he has an accident that leaves him with only a few days to live. He then realizes that the only way he can survive is by getting to the space station. As a result he equips himself with an exoskeleton that gives him extreme strength and goes on a mission not just to save himself, but the whole world.
The film was directed by Bloomkamp who is best known for his work on "District 9." In 2009, "District 9" became one of the most successful films of the year and scored four Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.
