A new Pokémon is also featured about 52 seconds into the latest trailer with Vivillon, a dual Bug and Flying-type Pokémon, and is reported to have a secret hidden with the pattern of its wings.
Noivern is another new Pokémon, a dual Flying and Dragon-type Pokémon, which is said to be extremely combative toward anything that poses as a threat to it.
And after long debate and speculation, the Fairy type is finally confirmed. With Fairy type confirmed, so is the type for Sylveon. The new gameplay trailer announced Sylveon as a Fairy type along with Marill, Jigglypuff, and Gardevoir, to name a few of many more soon to be revealed. With Fairy type, it will be super-effective against Dragon types.
"Pokémon X and Y" users will also connect with their Pokémon with the feature "Pokémon Amie," which is touted to be "an excited way to bond with your Pokémon," according to the narrator.
"Pokémon X and Y" has been confirmed to be released on October 12 across Australia, Europe, North America, and Japan for the Nintendo 3DS.
