The soundtrack to "Man of Steel" has launched online.

The Hans Zimmer score is being offered for free stream through Spotify. The music streaming website is offering 18 tracks from the film. However the music is not available for purchase until Tuesday June 11.

The new soundtrack does not feature any of the previous themes that were written by John Williams; Zimmer has chosen to revamp the theme in order for audiences to experience a fresh view of the series.

A couple of tracks include "Look To the Stars," "DNA," "Launch," "Sent Here For a Reason," and "Goodbye my Son."

Zimmer is best known for his work on "The Dark Knight series" as well as "Inception." He recently completed work on "The Lone Ranger" and will also score Ron Howard's "Rush" and Steve McQueen's "Twelve Years a Slave." The composer won an Academy Award for his "The Lion King" score and was also nominated for "Sherlock Holmes," "Gladiator," and "The Thin Red Line."  He also worked on the scores to the "Pirates of the Caribbean series," "The Da-Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons.

"Man of Steel" tells the story of a young journalist who is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race.

The new film was produced by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises) and directed by Zack Snyder. The film, which is reported to have cost $225 million, stars Henry Cavill (The Immortals), Amy Adams (The Master), Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road), Diane Lane (Unfaithful) and Kevin Costner (Dances with Wolves).

"Man of Steel" will open at the Los Angeles Film Festival and hits theaters on June 14. The film is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and for some language.
