Shakira's IQ Levels Are That Of A 'Genius'

With an incredible career that encompasses music, business and acting, Shakira has managed to dispel the long standing myth that blondes are dumb. The singer has such a high IQ her scores are in the range normally associated "geniuses".

According to reports, Mensa International has estimated Shakira's IQ at 140 points, which shows that the key to all her professional successes lies not only in her dancing abilities.

The singer's mother Nidia Ripoll recently admitted she was shocked to witness the mental abilities her daughter shows while having to juggle a number of things at once.

"She is one of the best moms I've seen in my life. I am flabergasted at her discipline and how efficient she is at handling maternity and work, and how she has managed to organize her life so meticulously. For example, if she has to exercise or attend a meeting in the early morning, before she goes to bed she makes sure to breast feed her child alittle longer to be able to sleep a few hours," Ripoll told Bang News.

Shakira's intellect will probably come in handy in her couching battles on "The Voice," in its American edition that features Adam Levine, Usher, Blake Shelton and Shakira as the star judges. A few days ago, Shakira celebrated with her Twitter followers that contestant Sasha went on to the semifinals, an achievement that was reached thanks in part to the Colombian singers' coaching abilities."We are very happy that Sasha has gone to the semifinals of The Voice. Thank you very much to everyone for their votes," Shakira wrote gleefully on her Twitter account.
