Colombian singer Shakira has millions of fans all around the world, but there is certainly one that stands out as special—her boyfriend Gerard Pique.
Pique set out to prove just that recently once he finished his commitment with team Barcelona and set out straight for Los Angeles to be with Shakira and their newborn child, Milan, who are both in the United States, for tapings of the hit show "The Voice," in which the Colombian singer acts as a singing instructor.
On his Twitter account, the soccer player posted a loving picture with the caption: "Kissing Shakira's star in Hollywood."
Pique's family visit proved to be a fast one, though, as he had to join the rest of the Spanish National Squad for practice in Miami.
Shakira was given a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in November 2011. She was the first Colombian personality to be honored with a star.
Shakira has been keeping busy with a full work schedule that includes taking part in "The Voice," working on her new album, and her new role as a mother. For the fans that are worried about the famous singer regaining her figure and those notorious hips, Shakira says she is still working on it.
"I have a long way to go yet. I still have a few pounds to lose," she said. "I look decent at the moment."
Shakira is also learning how to balance her day with this new schedule.
"You know, this is part of motherhood," said the Colombian superstar about balancing personal and professional life. "You have to decipher things as you go along".
The 36-year-old singer had her first child on Jan. 22 and named the baby Milan Pique Mebarak.
"He is fine, he is very sweet, but also very alert," the artist said in an interview with the AP at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, Calif.
"It's like he knows what is happening around him. He knows when someone enters or leaves a room," she added.
Shakira joined her fellow instructors of "The Voice," Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Usher, at a red carpet event to celebrate the 12 finalists competing to win the singing competition.
Carson Daly, host of the program, said that baby Milan has been a welcomed addition to the set that is very family friendly and receives regular visits from Daly's youngest son, Usher's children and Adam Levine's nephews.
"With Milan here it's a full-fledged nursery!" Daly added.
According to Shakira, children are not the ones causing trouble on set.
"It's like a kindergarten because these guys are babies, they're babies!" the singer joked about her fellow instructors.
