"Live it Up" is the latest hit single of the talented, sexy and famous Latina singer and she certainly did just that during her performance on "Britain's Got Talent."
Dressed in a provocative skin-tight, black leotard and thigh-high, high-heeled black boots, she certainly gave her all on the stage. The public in the studio were clapping and cheering, as were the four judges. And Simon Cowell had nothing but praise for her.
"Seriously, J-Lo. If anyone wants to know how you do it... that's how you do it," he said on the show. "Seriously, world-class."
Then the comments began to appear on twitter and the Latina wrote on her own account:
"Thanks gottalent for a great night #liveitup #bgt https://instagram.com/p/Z4c413muHY/".
The response from her fans was, as could be expected, full of praise. But others didn't seem to agree. With the tags, #inappropriate and #bgt, there was certainly more than one negative comment concerning J.Lo's show on BGT. Many women were upset with Lopez's performance, citing things like the fact that it is supposed to be a family show and her outfit should have been censored. Others complained that she shouldn't have been dancing the way she was while wearing those clothes. And while these comments haven't been in a really excessive number, the controversy has certainly been enough to at least call public attention to it, as well as the attention of E! Entertainment.
And what does J.Lo has to say about all this? She called herself and her outfit 'tame,' stating that other people are much raunchier than she is. The superstar also stated she was wearing a bodysuit that is something similar to what other performers wear these days and it certainly isn't something she would walk down the street in. Also, she wore the exact same outfit and performed an identical dance routine during the Billboard Awards in America and no one complained about it then. She also revealed that the BGT producers specifically asked for a risqué performance; they wanted what she had done in the Billboard Awards, in fact.
It's not the first time complaints surface about an occurrence in the entertainment industry, either in that show specifically or television in general, and it certainly won't be the last. But as long as the public keeps watching, as some say... the show must go on.
