A new transfer drama is shaping up between Luis Suarez and his current club Liverpool. The striker recently stated that he was fed up with the English press and was considering a move to Real Madrid. However, his agent has recently stated that a move was not imminent and that Suarez was simply considering his options.

"He is fine at Liverpool but recent times have been tough for him. There is nothing more in it," Suarez's agent Pere Guardiola told the press Thursday.

Suarez was suspended by the Premier league for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic. The suspension and negative reaction from his own club created speculation that Suarez had already played his final game in England.

"The desire to win with the big clubs is always there. I've talked to my agent, there's nothing concrete. To say no to Madrid would always be difficult and more so with the team they have," he stated about the prospect of leaving his current squad and heading to Spain. "I have a contract with Liverpool, but it would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid. There are a lot of rumors in the transfer window, but you never know until firm offers are made."

Real Madrid has taken a liking to the Uruguayan star with club President Florentino Perez stating, "Luis Suarez is a great player and of course everyone would like to have him. I like him, and others too like Lewandowski and Cavani, they are all very good, but there is not room for them all."

Suarez led Liverpool with 23 goals in 33 games this season.

"I'm happy at Liverpool. I'm happy because of the fans. I made a mistake, I'm human, but they've talked about me in ways they shouldn't have. My family has suffered and things got out of hand. My daughter and my wife have suffered. I'm not prepared to continue to put up with the English press," he noted. "I love Liverpool, but if there is a chance of playing somewhere else... I suffered too much as a kid to get where I am to be attacked unfairly by the English press. They haven't appreciated me as a player, they've just judged my attitude."
