The countdown to "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" continues. More photos and cast interviews make their way into public hands, offering fans an inside look at the rapidly approaching sequel.
In the most recent interview with Jennifer Lawrence at Cannes Film Festival, the young starlet revealed some new Katniss Everdeen spoilers to help fuel the excitement. Lawrence touched upon the state of the capitol, how it will be further explored in the sequel, Katniss's life, and the challenges that lay ahead for the young warrior from District 12. She also took the time to shed some love for her fellow co-stars.
"Amazing... All of these people are my friends and I love them," Lawrence said when commenting on her stay at Cannes. "So it's really fun."
"This movie is visually huge and stunning and we dive a little deeper in the Capitol," she added. "We're back in Katniss's life as she's trying to piece her life back together after the games. The stakes are a lot higher in this one."
Lawrence isn't the only one featured in the interview. Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) also makes an appearance.
"Obviously, from the beginning there's a huge pressure on my shoulders. A lot to contend with," Claflin said. "But the actual family group we have, the 'Hunger Games' family, it was so inviting and so welcoming. I felt so intimidated to begin with but I really kind of settled."
"It's an epic story," he added. "It's the next installment of an already established film and I genuinely believe it's going to get people talking."

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hit theaters November 22 via Lionsgate. Read the official synopsis below.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
