Apparently, it's the end for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. The couple has reportedly called it quits after dating for over four years.
Us Magazine reports that the Hunger Games star and the 'Can't be Tamed' singer have officially parted ways. The reports come after months of speculations as to whether the two are still together.
"They are definitely over," a trusted source revealed, as reported by the magazine.
Over the past months, the two sweethearts have been rumoured to take a time off their relationship to sort things out. Liam was even reported flying back to his native country, Australia to "regroup," reports the magazine.
It was also reported earlier this month that the Liam's brothers have staged an intervention to get the hunk to end the relationship with Miley. On an article published by UsMagazine.com in May 8, Chris and Luke Hemsworth reportedly had a serious talk with their brother about settling down with Cyrus.
"They want him to end the romance for good," a source told the magazine.
Now it seems that the intervention of the brothers worked and the two are officially over. Reports also say that Liam was the one who called off the wedding and that Miley's attitude was one of the reasons for the break up.
However, recent news reveal otherwise. E! Online reports that a paparazzi saw Hemsworth "speed his way through the front gates of the home he shares with the singer," around 4 pm yesterday. Whether the former Disney star was there to welcome her BF isn't confirmed.
Cyrus and Hemsworth met at the filming of their movie 'The Last Song' in 2009. After dating for three years, the 23-year-old Australian hunk proposed to Cyrus, 20, with a 3.5-carat diamond ring.
