Drake's forthcoming junior album is shrouded in mystery. It will come out sometime in 2013 and will be called Nothing Was the Same. That's all we know. The rapper/singer released his second studio album, Take Care, in November, 2011, and many fans believe his upcoming album will follow suit and set the tone for the encroaching winter. We've heard several new tracks from Drake, but none are confirmed to appear on the new album. As speculations continue, more details concerning his Nothing Was the Same continue to pour in.

In most recent news, Drake and Jay-Z have been spotted in the studio together working on a new collaboration. The last time the two rappers appeared on a track together was on Drake's Thank Me Later when veteran Jay-Z offered the rising star some words of advice on "Light Up." The pair linked up Saturday night in the studio, and although there's no way to know where the music will end up, it could very well appear on Drake's next album. The timing's right. The collaboration's right. So why not?

Def Jam A&R executive Lenny Santiago didn't share much, but he did post a photo of the two superstars on his Instagram, writing "Warning: Please be very afraid of the music we're working on. OVO x ROCNATION." So it's unclear where the track will end up, but the news is getting plenty of attention, and according to Santiago, we should prepare ourselves.

The latest track to come from the OVO star is "Girls Love Beyoncé," which he released via Soundcloud and features James Fauntleroy. Drake returns to hisTake Care self with gentle melodies that dwell on his tormented relationship problems. Prepare yourself to hear the superstar sing Destiny's Child "Say My Name." Although the newer Drake we heard on "Started From the Bottom" and "5am in Toronto" shows promise for yet another groundbreaking, redefining performance on his junior album, it's nice to hear the Drake we've come to love on "Girls Love Beyoncé." Listen here.

Fans are still awaiting more details on Drake's upcoming Nothing Was the Same, and now the thought of a collaboration with Jay-Z is only fueling the anticipation.

*A previous version of this article stated that Jay-Z previously collaborated with Drake on Take Care, when in fact the track appeared on Thank Me Later.
