The Bradys are back together. After over four decades, the crew recently had a reunion to celebrate the show that had everybody--well, at least those that lived in the late 60s and early 70s--glued to their TV sets.
Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) went back to Mason, Ohio to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the show's episode shot at Kings Island in 1973. Just like old times, the three Bradys enjoyed the amusement park at the side while also mounting a show for their loyal fans across the US.
Not an empty seat was found at the 844-seater venue at the first of four shows of the Brady Bunch reunion. The former Brady kids were there to tell stories and funny memories in the show, as well as classic clips from The Brady Brunch's most memorable episodes.
"Remember 'Mom always said: Don't play ball in the house,' 'Oh, my nose!' and 'Pork chops and apple sauce'?" noted USA TODAY.
First airing in 1969, The Brady Bunch has been a milestone in American Television. Running for five seasons, the show became a staple among the younger viewers at the time. It even led to a number of other spinoffs, including TV shows and movies.
Now 51 years old, Olsen is already a mother of a "16-year-old son with a Mohawk," reported USA TODAY-very far from her role as the young Cindy Brady 40 years ago. Knight, who was also one of the youngest Brady, was happy to reunite with his co-stars. He also noted how great it was to reminisce the show with the fans.
Notably, even as the eldest son of the Bradys, Williams was one of the grooviest. With his tan skin and dark hair, Williams mesmerized the crowd all throughout the night; even donning Eminem with a little "Slim Shady" rap.
"I think everybody, at some point in their life, wanted to be a Brady," one fan told USA TODAY. "Their whole family seemed so perfect. They were so nice. I think it resonates with the child in all of us to want to be Brady."
Until now, The Brady Bunch still has reruns shown on some channels, including the Hallmark Channel. This proves how The Brady Bunch can touch viewers through the years.
