The Billboard Music Awards 2013 kick off tonight at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8 p.m. EST. Fans can tune in at 6:30 p.m. EST as the biggest names in music walk down the blue carpet for the award ceremony.
This year's ceremony is hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan and will include performances by Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Miguel, Ed Sheeran, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, the Band Perry and a special performance by Billboard Icon Award winner Prince. Country sweetheart Swift, along with Bieber, Mars and Miguel are also up for the Milestone Award. Some of the celebrity presenters will include Miley Cyrus, PSY, Shania Twain and Ke$ha.
The award ceremony will be in full social media mode this year, giving fans the ability to connect through several social media platforms. Fans tuning in on Twitter can follow @Billboard or use the hashtag #BBMABackstage to ask their favorite celebrities questions. Fan can also visit Billboard's Tumblr for "live GIFs" of the night, as well as Instagram, Facebook and Pintrest for exclusive backstage sneak peaks and other fun celebrity snapshots.
Tune in to the Billboard Music Awards 2013 at 6:30 p.m. EST for the blue carpet and 8 p.m. EST for the award ceremony on ABC.
