Ric Flair and Roddy Piper will be featured in an upcoming episode of "Celebrity Wife Swap," according to PWInsider.com, scheduled to air Sunday, June 23rd, 8 PM, on ABC. The Nature Boy and the Rowdy One will be "swapping wives." Mick Foley has previous made an appearance on the show.
Despite having competed at a recent NXT event, WWE officials have decided that Evan Bourne is not set to return to full-time the roster. Speculation is that Bourne will be teamed up with Sin Cara to form a new tag-team.
Jake "The Snake" Roberts talked with FOX Sports South about his rehabilitation and guaranteed he participate in this year Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Roberts, currently living in Diamond Dallas Paige's "Accountability Crib," where he is learning how to live a sober lifestyle after decades of drug and alcohol abuse, wants one more chance in the ring. "I'm announcing that right now. I'll be in the Royal Rumble next year, count on it," said Roberts. "I worked too hard in this business to go out that way. So I guess we're going to have to take a victory lap. I'm definitely coming back."
WWE.com has posted an article asking what would have happened had Extreme Championship Wrestling had survived. Among those interviewed were Tommy Dreamer, Joey Styles, Rhyno, Steve Corino, Jerry Lynn, and Joey Mercury. "I would be a most appreciative and generous boss for Vincent Kennedy McMahon," joked Paul Heyman.
In other news, Kane has challenged Tennessee Lieutenant Governor Ron Ramsey, who has proposed internet sales taxes, to a political debate. "Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey claims that the Internet sales tax mandate is not a new tax. Nor, according to Ramsey, is it an unfair tax. Ramsey is wrong on both counts. I, therefore, invite Lt. Gov. Ramsey for a policy debate on the issue of the 'Marketplace Fairness Act' in a public forum at his convenience," said Kane to the Chattanoga Times Free Press.
The Hill.com is reporting that Glenn Jacobs (Kane) is considering a primary challenge against United States Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.). Kane / Jacobs has been a politically active libertarian who endorsed Ron Paul during the 2008 elections.
WWE Hall of Famer, Bruno Sammartino, will be honored by his hometown of Pittsburgh, recognizing the 50th anniversary of his heavyweight title victory over Buddy Rogers, back in May 1963. Sammartino would go on to have the longest title reign in WWE history, holding the title for nearly eight years.
With the exception of premium seats, Summerslam, to be held in Los Angeles this year, is sold out.
While it has been confirmed that the late Paul Bearer will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, rumors are circulating that The Undertaker also get inducted alongside his manager. Jake "The Snake" Roberts' name is also being floated around as a possible 2014 inductee.

The Rock has confirmed, via Twitter, that he is set to play Marvel's Luke Cage character in an untitled movie project.
