Just a few hours separate fans from the season one finale of CBS hit drama 'Elementary.' A few spoilers have trickled out regarding what lies in store for Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) after finding out that Sherlock's former lover Irene (played by guest star Natalie Dormer) is alive.

A new sneak peak of the two-hour finale shows Sherlock and Watson talking in their kitchen after spending some time in the hospital with Irene. Watson asks Sherlock how their new living arrangement will work out with the three of them living in Sherlock's home. She even offers to look for a new place to which Sherlock adamantly responds with, "No, this is your home."

Watson also offers to help out "in any way she can," which prompts Sherlock to tell her that she most solve the whole Moriarty case on her own while he cares for Irene. The request of course, is no small order. Will Joan be able to take on such a big case all by herself?

Of course, Watson is also worried that Irene's return could be a major relapse trigger for Sherlock. In the promo for "The Woman" and "Heroine," fans see a glimpse of what could be Sherlock overdosing on drugs. Is it a flashback or could Irene's return and Moriarty's presence turn Sherlock back to his addiction?

Tonight's finale will kick off with "The Woman" and conclude with "Heroine." CBS teases, "As Sherlock reels at the reappearance of his former lover, Irene Adler, a series of flashbacks unravel the tumultuous events that led to his downfall into addiction. Meanwhile, he and Joan once again find themselves in the cross-hairs of the enigmatic Moriarty."

Fans will get a swarm of guest stars during the two-hour season finale, including Natalie Dormer (Irene Adler), Erik Jensen (Isaac Proctor), Lucas Caleb Rooney (Duane Proctor), Arnold Vosloo (Christos Theophilus), Dominic Fumusa (Jordan Colvin) among others.

'Elementary' season one finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
