Kathleen Kennedy will attend the Star wars Celebration.
The new owner of Lucasfilms will appear at the celebration in July which will take place in Essen, Germany over three days. She will be joined by Warwick Davis to talk about her career to date and her plans for Star Wars. However pundits have already stated that no plot spoilers will be revealed. She will however reveal how Lucasfilms will change and how the company will be reorganized. Kennedy took a moment to speak about the event and stated "When I joined Lucasfilm, I immediately saw the true passion shared by Star Wars fans around the world. I'm thrilled to attend my first Star Wars Celebration and see in person that energy that makes the Star Wars experience so special."
The Star Wars Celebration will also feature guest appearances from "Star Wars" stars Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fettt), Peter Mayhew (Chewbaca), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), and Anthony Daniels (C3PO).
Kennedy will produce the upcoming "Star Wars" flick. She is an Eight Time Academy Award Nominee which recently produced "Lincoln" and "War Horse" She has also worked on "ET" "Jurassic Park" and "The Sixth Sense."
"Star wars Episode 7" is currently in pre-production with J.J Abrams attached to direct and set to shoot in the early part of 2014. The production team has recently revealed that they will shoot in UK; Scotland will be one of the major points of interest. Location scouts stated ""Location bosses feel Scotland possesses stunning scenery perfect for movie backdrops. They will look great on the big screen and the rock formations will replicate the perception of mountainous planets. It will be the first time Star Wars has ever been shot north of the border."
Star Wars Episode 7" will be released it in 2015.
