Kitchen Nightmare Episode Featuring Amy's Baking Company Prompts Insane Social Media Backlash

If you don't watch Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey, or you've opted to stay off social media for the past day or so, you might've missed one of the most insane business meltdowns of all time.

A restaurant known as Amy's Baking Company was featured on the Kitchen Nightmares program. The show features chef Gordon Ramsey as he attempts to diagnose why a restaurant is having trouble, and then offer solutions with his trademark blunt and no nonsense approach. He's never failed to get a business back on its feet, but that's probably because he's never met these owners.

Even before Ramsey arrives, it's clear that Samy and Amy are by far some of the most downright disgusting people in the restaurant business. In the episode we see them steal the tips from waitresses, pass off pre-made food as fresh, take credit for cakes they bought, and respond to comments about their substandard food by literally throwing customers out in a fit of screaming.

In perhaps the most entertaining (if a bit horrifying) episode yet, Ramsey, for the first time, found himself unable to even begin to help this business.

The episode is still available on YouTube, and if you have 40 minutes to spare, it's worth a watch.

That's only half the story though. After the episode aired, offended viewers took to Reddit, Yelp, and most hilariously, the restaurant's Facebook page to give Amy and Samy a piece of their mind.

How did the couple respond? In possible the worst/best way possible: by completely losing their minds. Throughout the past two days, the pair have launched a non-stop campaign of some of the most insane uses of the caps lock cruise control I've ever seen.
