Despite growing speculation that Brazilian soccer phenom, Neymar, may play in Spain next season - either as a member of FC Barcelona or Real Madrid CF, a former vice president for his current team, Santos FC of Brazil, believes that the forward will end up as a member of the current German champions, FC Bayern Munich.

"I am not speculating here. This information is irrefutable," said former Santos executive, Vicente Cascione, in his blog. "From August this year on, the player will be part of Bayern's squad."

The 21-year-old Brazilian star has been linked to making a move towards joining current Liga BBVA champions, Barcelona, alongside fellow countrymen, Dani Alves and Adiano. Real Madrid is keeping in an eye on Barcelona's negotiations, hoping to prevent their bitter rival from acquiring Neymar's services.

Neymar, who has scored 12 goals in 17 matches in the Paulista State Championship, has stated in the past that he would remain with Santos until the remainder of his contract, which runs through the 2014 World Cup. But the lure of playing in Europe's grand stage and the opportunity of winning a UEFA Champions League title be too much temptation to resist.

Neymar is also reportedly being sought after by Jay-Z's "Roc Nation" entertainment company, hoping to tap into the young Brazilian's popularity and expand into the global sports market.

Bayern Munich, who is currently preparing for the UEFA Champions League title game against Borussia Dortmund, denies Neymar is heading to the German side.

"This is complete nonsense," said Bayern Munich spokesman, Markus Horwick. "There's no truth in this claim."

Neymar has previously expressed an admiration for Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger and interest in playing for the German champions, as early as this past February.

"Playing for Bayern is something I could imagine doing," said Neymar. "I dreamed to play in Europe since I was a child, but it is important I feel good and adapt with the rest of the team. [The transfer] doesn't have to be Spain necessarily."
