The second week of the La Voz Kids saw even more talent from the young children competing for a spot in the show.
The first participant of the night was Sean who had all three coaches turn around for him. Paulina Rubio loved his worked while Prince Royce said that he was great. Roberto Tapia said that he has great potential and could win the show. Sean chose Prince Royce and made Rubio very upset.
Jose Luis was the second singer of the night but did not get chosen by any of the coaches. Rubio said that he needed to act the song more and expected him to return next year.
Jeidimar was the next singer and was chosen by Roberto Tapia. Tapia said he was happy to have her on his team and sees a lot of potential for her.
Stephanie then got chosen by Rubio and Tapia. Rubio said that she wanted a different voice like her and said she had a lot of potential in many genres. Tapia said that she had a lot of sweetness in her voice and a lot of power as well. Stephanie eventually chose Rubio because she was a huge fan.
Zeshua was then brought to tears because no one chose him. Rubio told him to come next year because he captivated audiences.
Ezequiel then made Rubio and Prince Royce turn around. Royce was filled with emotion because he sang "Stand by Me" which was his first hit. He said that there are a lot of things to still work on but that he had a beautiful voice. Ezequiel chose Royce regardless of Rubio's good comments.
Tapia then got Edgar who sang a regional Mexican song; however, the judges failed to pick Edgar's brother Bryan.
Prince Royce later chose Euriel at the last minute. She told Royce that he was her favorite artist while Royce said she was a powerful singer. Tapia obtained his next singer Ariana and told her he was happy to have her because her voice was wonderful.
Rubio and Tapia next turned around for Andrea. Rubio said she was a great star and had great value. However Tapia said that Rubio had too many girls and he could do wonders for her. Andrea however chose Rubio.
Veronica was the next participant to not get chosen. She was too nervous according to Rubio and that killed her performance.
Tapia picked his next pop artist Wendy. Tapia said that he loved her voice and added that she had wonderful stage presence.
Brian was the last singer to captivate the public and coaches. Rubio said that he had a wonderful voice and was a real star. Tapia also complimented him and added that he was enchanting and could win with him. Royce said that he was the best choice if he wanted to win. Brian eventually chose Tapia because he wanted to dedicate himself to Mariachi singing.
At the end of the night Royce picked up three voices bringing his team to six while Tapia added five participants for a total of seven team members. Rubio only picked up two singers and now has six contestants on her team.
The next round of blind auditions will be aired next week on Sunday at 7pm.
