The next Pokémon update has been confirmed to be landing in just one week.
Game Freak Inc. and "Pokémon X and Y" Director Junichi Masuda has been confirmed to appear on the Japanese show "Pokémon Smash" on May 19. His appearance will be the first since early April when he revealed Mewtwo's new form.
The reason for Masuda's appearance is unknown but common sense and history shows he will discuss the upcoming Nintendo 3DS games and reveal new Pokémon.
Fans don't have to wait until May 19 though as massive leaks have appeared online courtesy of the Japanese magazine CoroCoro.
According to Serebii, providing the translation, four new Pokémon have been confirmed. Although the names are not officially translated to English, a goat-like Pokémon named Gogoat, a lizard-like Elikiteru, a Panda Pokémon Yancham, and bird Pokémon Yayakoma have appeared on the magazine.
Furthermore, the news of the two protagonists has been revealed. The characters' names have not been disclosed but the ability to customize them has been. It seems players will be able to change the hair color of their avatars.
The last reveal is the region. According to CoroCoro, the region's name is Karos, but again, it is not the direct-to-English name. As widely speculated, the region is based on France, a possibility Latinos Post reported back in January.
Stay tuned to Latinos Post as we'll provide more details on the reveals in the coming days.
