Justin Timberlake New Album and 2013 Tour Dates Confirmed: 'The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2)' To Hit Stores In September Followed By World Tour

Justin Timberlake already crowned his comeback with his "Legends of Summer" tour with Jay-Z, but now there's even more. The tour kicks of July 17 in Toronto and will span 12 shows over the course of a month, winding down in Miami at Sun Life Stadium, but as if that wasn't enough, the star pop singer has just announced a world tour this fall through February 2014.

The tour will begin in Montreal on October 31 and end in Omaha, Nebraska February 10. It will follow in the wake of the second volume of The 20/20 Experience, which will hit stores September 30. Timberlake made the announcement May 5, when he posted a photograph on his Facebook and Instagram of himself in the studio with a handwritten note that reads, "THE 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) SEPT. 30TH. Timberlake released the first installment of The 20/20 Experience on March 18, 2013. With two brand new, full-length albums and two subsequent tours, Timberlake has returned to the music industry with a major splash.

The 20/20 Experience sold more than two million copies in the US and 188,00 in the UK. On April 22, only a month after its release, the Recording Industry Association of America certified it double platinum. If the first installment is any indication, part two will surely woo Timberlake fans once again.

The singer's decision to release two full-length albums several months apart is uncommon, but it's a brilliant move. After seven years without producing a studio album, Timberlake has had plenty of time to rack up the new tacks. Instead of releasing them all at once, he's made it possible to generate twice the revenue by essentially selling twice as many albums as he would have otherwise. Not to mention the hype surrounding his part one will certainly carry over and excite fans even more for the second.
