Today the blind auditions started on La Voz Kids. The requirement for the children was that they needed to between the ages of 7-14.
Roberto Tapia was the first coach to get a teammate. It was Miguel, a young boy who sang Regional Mexican music.
Paulina Rubio and Prince Royce had a hard time finding their first teammate but shortly after a couple of auditions Rubio chose Kim. Rubio said that they were going to work on fixing some issues but that Kim had a huge voice.
Paola was the next contestant to be chosen and she had all three coaches turn around for her. Rubio told Paola that at the age of 11 she had platinum albums and knew how to make her a star. Additionally she said that Paola had an incredibly powerful voice. Prince Royce walked over to Paola and hugged her. He said that she could sing anything she wanted. Paola eventually went with Prince Royce giving him his first teammate.
Alesiram was the next contestant for which all three coaches turned around. The coaches tried to convince her by singing to her. Royce said that she was charismatic and had the magic necessary to become a great artist. Rubio said that she was born a star and had a great heart. Tapia stated that she had a lot of energy and he could do a great job with her. Alesiram however chose Rubio because she was her number one fan.
Jennifer was the next singer and Rubio and Tapia turned around for her. Jennifer picked Rubio because she was the first one to turn around.
The next singer of the night was Angela who made Rubio and Royce turn around. Royce said that her voice was sweet while Rubio said she was the complete package. Angela however chose Royce.
For the next contestant Geoffrey all three coaches turned around. Geoffrey sang a bachata and got very emotional when he saw the judges asking for him. Royce said that he was the best choice for the type of music he was singing while Tapia said that Geoffrey would win with him. Rubio said she was happy to see him in the competition and she would be happy to see him with any of the coaches. Geoffrey went with Royce.
Yensid became the next teammate that Rubio picked. Rubio said that she was a jewel and was happy to have her.
The last blind audition of night was by Alan who made all three coaches turn around. Rubio said that she was reminded of the great Pedro Infante while Royce said that he had an established voice. Tapia said he was already a star and Alan chose Tapia.
By the end of the night Royce ended up with three teammates while Tapia chose two kids. However Rubio got four teammates.
The next episode will air next Sunday at 7pm on Telemundo.
