There's nothing "50 Shades of Grey" fans won't do to see their favorite actors grace the big screen as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. We've seen countless fan polls, fan-made trailers, Twitter rants and Facebook pages devoted to the top candidates, yet Universal Studios and E. L. James remain silent. Now, Mstarz points out that the most recent contenders to receive their very own "50 Shades" Facebook page are fan-favorites Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer, and it's getting some serious attention.
The fan page is complete with scandalous photos and trailers that reiterate how amazing the two sexy stars would look together as Christian and Anastasia. And sure enough, they look good. The page now has more than 1,500 'Likes' and growing.
"Our Absolute AUTHENTIC MESMERIZING-EYED 50 Shades Dreamy Perfect Pair, Christian & Ana of Fifty Shades, Bomer & Bledel ♥ ♥ ^_^," the page reads, inviting fans to post, comment and like everything they can find about the two "lovely actors." Check out a fan made trailer featuring the pair below.
Bledel and Bomer aren't the only two Ana and Christian hopefuls that have received ample attention on Facebook. "The Vampire Diaries'" Ian Somerhalder, another "50 Shades" favorite, has more than 6,500 likes on his fan page.
"This is a fan page for people who think Ian Somerhalder should be the one to play Christian Grey in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie because I don't think there is anyone more perfect for the part and if you feel the same way as I do please like this page," the site reads.
In other "50 Shades" casting news, English actress Kaya Scodelario recently opened up about her potential role as Ana during an interview with the London Evening Standard.
"I'm not comfortable doing nudity," she said. "That's something quite personal. My mum's always asked me not to do it and I respect her... considering what the [50 Shades of Grey] film is about, I wouldn't be able to [play Anastasia]."
Well, that takes Scodelario out of the picture, but it's for the better. There are so many candidates already that it's hard to keep track. Besides, big names like Bomer and Bledel are already hogging all the attention. Just look at their Facebook fan pages. Enough said.
