Another week without "How I Met Your Mother" has passed. Why CBS has been falling behind on its weekly episode schedule is unclear, but the show returns Monday night with "The Bro-Mitzvah." The title alone suggests that it could be one of the most outrageous episodes of the season, and with the finale approaching, we could all use a good does of "How I Met Your Mother" shenanigans. As fans wait for Monday night, here's a roundup of what we can expect along with a couple sneak peek trailers for your viewing pleasure.
Ted (Josh Radnor) and Marshall (Jason Segel) are determined to throw Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) the bachelor party of a lifetime and will pull out all the stops to make it one for the record books.
In anticipation of the bachelor blowout, CBS has released two full clips from the episode. The first clip hints that Frances Conroy will return to the show as Barney's mother, Loretta. The second shows the return of Quinn (Becki Newton), who will unexpectedly bring her stripping talents to the party, making it a night that Barney will never forget, unless he gets obnoxiously drunk of course, which is likely. Quinn's return could also conjure up some painful memories for Barney, as he originally planned the perfect bachelor party with her. Will Barney have second thoughts about his marriage to Robin (Cobie Smulders)? Check out the clips below.
Here's CBS' official episode description:
"'The Bro Mitzvah' - The gang works together to plan a legendary bachelor party for Barney. Frances Conroy returns as Loretta, Barney's mom, and Ralph Macchio guest stars as himself."
In other "How I Met Your Mother" news, the finale is approaching and a new set photo hints at serious tension between Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Robin. We know that Lily has something that Robin wants for her wedding, but it looks like she may be reluctant to give it up.
The next episode of "How I Met Your Mother" will air Monday, April 29 on CBS.
