It's that time again. More "50 Shades of Grey" casting rumors have surfaced. One of the main contenders, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, sat down Tuesday night with Jay Leno on the "Tonight Show" and opened up about his potential role as Christian Grey. Not only that, Amell discussed his spot as male prostitute with a 'big' reputation on the former HBO his series "Hung," a role that coincides nicely with "50 Shades."

Amell, 31, is pleased to be in the running for the coveted Christian Grey and would love to have the opportunity to star in the film adaptation of E. L. James' 'mommy porn' novel. Earlier this year, Amell posted a video on his official Facebook page expressing his interest in the project.

"I get questions about Christian Grey all the time," Amell said in the video. "The project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it. Long way off. I mean, not that long, but not close. I wouldn't call it long, but I wouldn't call it close." Riveting stuff.

During his appearance on Leno's "Tonight Show," Amell affirmed his statements previously made on Facebook. "I had a meeting with the studio that is doing that movie and we spoke about it. And I anecdotally brought it up on my Facebook page, which I didn't realize was real news now... I've operated my page the same way when I had 200 friends and now I have more than that and all of a sudden it was this big news story. But now, I'm flattered if any movie role and my name are mentioned in the same sentence because there haven't been a ton of them. I'm still an actor who wants to work all the time."

Amell would be a flawless fit for Christian Grey, and his previous role as a gigolo on "Hung" certainly doesn't hurt his chances. He's clearly well versed in raunchy, sex-driven roles. So James, what do you think? Amell as Christian Grey? It's about time we get a decision, and Amell seems like the perfect choice.
