This week on Nuestra Belleza Latina, competition increased among the contestants.
At the beginning of the program host Gisele Blondet announced that the judges had to nominate one of the girls from their group. Osmel Sousa nominated Marisela because she did not progress enough while Lupita Jones nominated Essined for not improving throughout the month. Julian Gil was last to choose and picked Karina because he felt she had the least opportunity to win. Out of the three contestants nominated, Karina was least voted by the audience and became the first of the night to be at risk of elimination.
For the week's Kia challenge the girls had to model in front of the car. They also had to present it to the buyers and sell it. The winner of the challenge was Barbara Turby who took home $10,000.
Karina and Odaray did not participate however due to personal and health issues.
After, the judges asked them to go to the zoo where the women were asked to touch random animals with their eyes covered. Many of the competitors had breakdowns as they were scared. Once they did this challenge the girls were asked to go to a dark room where they could not see anything. They were supposed to hold animals in their hand while other has to eat random dishes.
Gil said Barbara Falcon was very good while Odaray was perfect. Jones also agreed but Sousa said that the other two judges were watching the wrong channel. Sousa said that Falcon's screaming was unacceptable. He also said Odaray was uneducated for eating while she spoke.
Gil then said that Marisela was very sensual and comfortable and that Viviana was very good in bringing out the text even though she was holding a random animal. He also said Marina was natural but said that Turby had cheated for putting on a sock. Jones complimented Viviana and Marisela while Sousa defended Turby and said that Lupita and Gil were both bias.
The last four to complete the challenge were Essined, Karina, Audris and Zuleyka. Gil said Karina was so dedicated while Essined was not concentrated enough. Jones told the public that Essined sufferd from a phobia against rats and congratulated her. Sousa said that Essined was awful as well as the other four girls.
After the challenge, the program took a break to show video from the premiere of Jenni Rivera's film "Filly Brown." Rivera's complete family as well as the stars of the film attended and were excited to see her work. Her fans also attended saying that she deserved an Oscar for her work.
After evaluations from the judges Turby and Audris were nominated as the weakest of the night. The contestants than voted against Audris and she became the second competitors at risk of elimination.
At the end of the show the judges eliminated Karina and saved Audris. The next episode will air on Sunday at 8pm.
