Finally, "The Vampires Diaries" is back. After a three-week hiatus, the show returns to the delight of many anxious fans. Over the past several weeks, fans have been left to torture themselves over possible scenarios, feeding off rumors and speculations. With only five episodes left in season four, there's not much time for Mystic Falls to regain its bearings. But now the wait's over and the show returns with "Pictures of You" on Thursday, and here's a overview of what we can expect from our beautiful vampires on prom night.
It looks like Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) could be getting closer than anyone ever imagined. Besides a photo that shows the two sharing an intimate dance, apparently Caroline gives Stefan advice on how to move on. Does this mean that she's interested in linking up with one of Elena's (Nina Dobrev) men?
Caroline isn't too happy when Elena wreaks havoc on what is supposed to be the perfect night, so perhaps this is her way of getting revenge, or who knows? Maybe she really does have the hots for Stefan. But what about Klaus (Joseph Morgan)? His relationship with Caroline has been on the hush hush, but that doesn't mean a dance at prom isn't in order. Unfortunately, much to fans disappointment, he won't be making an appearance.
In other prom news, April (Grace Phipps) gets the invite from a senior, but little does she know her life could be in danger. What more can we expect from "The Vampire Diaries" besides looming death? Not only that, but her attire isn't anything to get excited about and she acts like a complete "nuisance." Sounds like it's going to be a great night for April.
But April isn't the only one in danger. Silas is lurking in the shadows, an ingredient for imminent disaster. As he can inhabit anyone's body, no one is safe.
We don't know exactly how prom night will end, but we do know it won't be pretty. What a perfect night to return to Mystic Falls after a three-week vacation. We couldn't be more excited.
