After high rating at this year's Academy Awards, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will return as producers of the show.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the duo who were in charge of producing such notable films such as "Chicago," "Hairspray," and "The Bucket List" will be returning as producers. The Academy President Howard Koch told the LA Times, "We believe that continuity is the most important thing. One of the problems we have every year is that you always have a new producer and a new host - there's so much learning." They added "Craig and Neil have great relationships, a sense of showmanship, and a passion for our Academy. And they're a pleasure to work with. All perfect qualities for our show."
At this point there is no mention of a potential host but Jimmy Kimmel and Justin Timberlake have already been rumored. In addition Seth MacFarlane stated that he would not return after the negative criticism he received.
The 2013 Oscar show had many highlights that included a James Bond tribute with singer Shirley Basset, and a musical tribute by Catherine Zeta Jones, Jennifer Hudson and the cast of the "Les Miserables."
