Move over Brandi Glanville - it looks like your ex-husband and new wife are trying to get a piece of the television pie. As if the personal drama surrounding their love and dealing with making a blending family work after an affair was not enough, it appears the married couple of two years would like to take their personal issues to the small screen. Reportedly, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibian have been shopping around the idea of a television to networks that would be based around their lives.
The actor and singer co-starred in the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights," where they began to develop a relationship off-camera while still married. Eddie's ex-wife is Brandi Glanville of Bravo's the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." After harsh scrutiny from media outlets and fans, the couple dated for some time before marrying in April 2011.
For the next few years, the drama between the new Cibrians and ex-wife Glanville would continue with both Brandi and LeAnn taking to Twitter for back and forth banter regarding the situation, and LeAnn's title in the lives of Eddie and Brandi's two sons. When asked about her relationship with Brandi in the April issue of UK's Fabulous magazine, LeAnn states it has been very difficult. "That's where you write 'insert face reaction here,'" says the singer.
If Eddie and LeAnn were to ink a television show deal, it would be scripted and not reality. Hoping to both play versions of themselves, the series would mirror their lives and include a "crazy ex-wife" an insider reveals. No word if the couple has found success in their endeavors, but may have sparked the interest of a few television executives. "Nothing is finalized yet, but they're seeing where the show could go."
Would you watch a show based on the lives of Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes?
