"Boy Meets World" cast, meet "Sister,Sister" mama.
That's right - actress Jackée Harry has been confirmed to join the cast of the beloved 1990 era show. Well, kinda. Although there is no word on her exact role, reports can now confirm that the television show star will appear on the "Girl Meets World" pilot. The show to air on the Disney Channel follows Cory and Topanga who are still married and now raising two children. The show itself will be told from the point of view of the couple's 13 year-old daughter, Riley.
Jackée's arrival marks one of the first outside of the original cast (not including Cory and Topanga's children for obvious reasons) that has been mentioned. Harry herself is no stranger to a popular 90's show as she played Lisa Landry, the fashion-forward adoptive mother on "Sister,Sister" alongside Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley. Airing from 1994-1999, Jackée kept closeby to "Boy Meets World" as both ABC shows aired in the same Friday night lineup.
Many have begun speculating what character Jackée will play on "Girl Meets World". Regardless of how many people try to pry into her business, Harry remains hush about her involvement with the show. When asked on Twitter by a fan about her role, Jackée jokingly responds she will play "an inanimate object."
Fans of the show must wait and see how everything unfolds as production has been very tight-lipped about the show. As Jackée Harry's once canceled and now revived show "The First Family" has been picked up by Centric TV, she may not have time to juggle two shows - thus making her participation on "Girl Meets World" a quick guest star appearance.
