Stanley Tucci has joined the cast of "Transformers 4."

The news came during Paramount's presentation at CinemaCon. Tucci is the latest in a list of new actors who will join the cast. Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz are slated to play the leads with Mark Wahlberg also in the cast. Josh Duhamel is also rumored to return to the series but there has been no confirmation.

Michael Bay will direct the sequel and like director's Christopher Nolan and J.J Abrams, he has kept the script under wraps with no plot details revealed.

Tucci is no stranger to tentpole films as he is currently in "The Hunger Games" series and "Captain America" and was last seen in "Jack the Giant Slayer." The actor was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in "The Lovely Bones" and has also starred in "Julie and Julia" and "The Devil Wears Prada." He will next be seen at the Tribeca Film Festival in "Some Velvet Morning."

Reynor is best known for his role in "What Richard Did" which will premiere at Tribeca, while Peltz can be currently seen in "Bates Motel."

Bay is best known for directing the "Transformers" series as well as "Armageddon," "Pearl Harbor" and "Bad Boys." His new film "Pain and Gain" starring Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie opens April 26th.

The previous three "Transformers" films grossed over $1.3 billion domestically and over $2 billion worldwide and became one of the most successful series of all time. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox starred in the films but after fallouts with director Bay, they decided not to return to the series. John Turturro, Jon Voigt and Tyrese Gibson also formed part of the cast. However, none of the actors have been approached or are rumored to return to the series.

Paramount will unveil "Transformers 4" on June 27th, 2014.
