On April 14th, the MTV Movie Awards will hand out their annual accolades.
The ceremony will hand out 13 awards including Best Film of the Year. Among the nominees for this category are "The Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Django Unchained," "Silver Linings Playbook," and "Ted."
The nominees for Best Actor of the year are Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook), Ben Affleck (Argo), Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln), Channing Tatum (Magic Mike), and Jaime Foxx (Django Unchained).
Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook) will compete for the Lead Actress award with fellow Oscar winner Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect), Emma Watson (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) and Mila Kunis (Ted).
Other nominees include Denzel Washington (Flight), Javier Bardem (Skyfall), Daniel Craig (Skyfall), Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Rises), Leonardo Dicaprio (Django Unchained), Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises), Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Samuel L. Jackson (Django Unchained), Robert Downey Jr. (The Avengers), Will Ferrell (The Campaign) and Mark Ruffalo (The Avengers).
Breakthrough nominees include Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect), Quevenzhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild), Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables), and Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi).
The ceremony will hand out its Comedic Genius award to Ferrell, and its second annual Trailblazer award to Watson. The Generation award will be given out to Foxx.
The awards ceremony will see special appearances by Zac Efron, Melisa McCarthy and Kerry Washington. Selena Gomez will make her long awaited return to the stage as she performs her new single while "The Hunger Games" Trailer will make its world premiere.

Wilson will host the show which airs at 9 p.m.. MTV will host a backstage all access live stream during the awards starting at 6:30pm.
