The Korean wonder that brought us the catchy hit, 'Gangnam Style' is back at it again with a spanking new single. Titled 'Gentleman,' the track is another Korean-English hybrid tune with an electronic beat. While the sound does have a few similarities to 'Gangnam,' it is unique in its own right.
'Gentleman' starts off with a beat that is not as fast as 'Gangnam Style,' but does speed up closer to the chorus. Boasting fun lyrics like "mother, father, gentleman" and giving props to the west side, you can bet your dancing shoes there will be quite a few memorable catch phrases you will hear over, and over again.

Fan reaction to the new song has been mixed since its debut on Thursday. Tweets instantly begun to sprout as many took to social media to express their like and dislike of the song. Some playfully tweeted catch phrases from the song, while others seemed a bit confused over the lyrics. "I'm a mother father gentleman? Oh boy," writes @alexakissinger while @ECYchu raves, "Psy's new song "Gentleman" is totally growing on me." One interesting critique came from a tweeter who questioned the appropriateness of the song title. @Jadedseer tweets to Everyday Sexism, "In Psy's new single he sings about how he's a gentleman, but has a line 'damn girl, you so freaking sexy.' Contradiction?"
Even though 'Gentleman' is its own song, fans just can't seem to not associate it with 'Gangnam Style.' "Isn't Psy's new song just 'Gangnam Style' but slowed down, with the phrase 'I'm a gentleman' thrown in for good measure?" questions @Glencloclo. Some media outlets however are giving it the chance it deserves. MTV calls Psy's new single "harder-hitting and more EDM-infused than its younger cousin."
Have you listened to 'Gentleman?' If so, what do you think about the track? Maybe more people will catch on to the tune once he reveals the dance. Oh yes - Psy has plans to show the world the dance for his new single at a concert on April 13. "I can't tell you about the dance but all Koreans know this dance - but (those in) other countries haven't seen it", reveals Psy.
Guess we must wait and see!
