On Tuesday, Kristen Stewart celebrated her 23rd birthday with boyfriend Robert Pattinson. (See photos.)
The on-again off-again couple seemed to perfectly content when they were spotted at a Mexican restaurant called Malo located in L.A.'s Los Feliz neighborhood. They were joined by a group of 40 friends including "Spring Breakers" actress Ashley Benson, X17 reports.
The "Twilight" stars were both dressed casually in jeans, hoodies and sneakers. They appeared to be in good spirits as they were seen exiting a car together.
Afterward, the group headed over to the bar No Vacancy at Hotel Juniper around 11 p.m. where they just so happened to stumble upon a record release party for Hanson.
An inside source revealed to E! News that Rob and Kristen spent time in both the main room and VIP area as part of a group of roughly a dozen people.
"They weren't overly affectionate or anything, but at points they were standing together as they talked to friends," the source says.
It didn't appear to be formal birthday party, with no one bringing out a cake or otherwise publicly marking Kristen's birthday, but she and Rob were still there at 1 a.m.
Meanwhile, "Twilight" star Nikki Reed and her husband Paul McDonald also happened to be at No Vacancy the same night, though it is unclear as to whether she was there to celebrate Stewart's birthday or not. She tweeted that she was there and shared a photo of herself posing with the band. "Good time. Good crew at No Vacancy/Juniper Hotel," she wrote.
however it may have been a coincidence, as she later posted a pic to Instagram of herself with Taylor Hanson.
