Are Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane Dating?

Charlize Theorn and Seth MacFarlane were spotted on a date Monday night.

The two actors were caught eating at a Sushi bar called Matshuhisa Restaurant in Beverly Hills. Theron tried to keep a low profile, barely looking up or smiling while MacFarlane was seen giggling as he trailed behind her as they exited the restaurant.

However source told E! News that the actors are not actually dating, "she is not [Seth's] type...they are just friends."

 MacFarlane recently stated that Hollywood dating was difficult after splitting with "Game of Thrones" girlfriend Emilia Clarke. He said "It's a pain ... because if you date, at a certain point you're in a relationship and at a certain point you're playing the field. It becomes this thing of trying to find places where you can have some privacy, where you're not going to be accosted by people and suddenly linked to someone as if you're in a serious relationship."

The two are scheduled to appear together in MacFarlane's new film "A Million Days to Die." They were also seen together at the Academy Awards which MacFarlane hosted and danced with Theron.

Theorn was last seen in "Prometheus" with Michael Fassbender and "Snow White and the Huntsman" with Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth. She was also seen in the critically acclaimed film "Young Adult" and "The Road." Theron will next be seen in "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "Dark Places."

MacFarlane received negative criticism for hosting the Oscars and then swore never to host the ceremony again. The actor was last seen in "Ted" and is currently working on "Family Guy." He is set to reprise his role in "Ted 2."
