After numerous setbacks on William Levy’s new telenovela “La Tempstead,” it seems that production has started to flow.

A few days ago the television show Hoy caught Levy and his costars on the set of the series at the Verzacruz port  filming the promotional content for the series. While on a break the show had the opportunity to speak to the actors and producers.

William Levy told the show that he was concentrating on his character, the story and the love triangle. He said he was focused and that he wanted to give the audience his best work possible.

Meanwhile former Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete reiterated that her current role was a huge challenge. The actress stated that there were many complicated scenes and that she was enjoying every moment of them.

Spanish actor Ivan Sanchez also had the opportunity of joking around. He said that the wind was so strong that his hair got undone and made him look like actress Lola Flores.

Producer Salvador Mejia also revealed that he has shortlisted the singers for the theme song of the series. He said Enrique Iglesias, Alejandro Fernandez, Pandora or Marta Sanchez were among his favorites to do the song.

"La Tempestad" has been in the headlines for the past months since production began. Levy and Navarrete were criticized for taking 16 hours on a kissing scene and were asked to take acting classes because they had no chemistry. The production team also criticized Levy for his hard-to-understand Cuban accent.

The series began shooting on Wednesday, March 6th in Veracruz. "La Tempestad" also stars, Laura Carmine, Jessica Coch, Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera, Latin Lover and Luis Manuel Avila. The series is based on the Colombian telenovela "La Tormenta" and is set to air in Mexico on May 13, 2013 on El Canal de la Estrellas.
