As "50 Shades of Grey" casting rumors continue to pour in, so do fan-made trailers featuring the top candidates for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Last week, several cruel April Fools' jokes upset disgruntled fans with false casting news, but now we're back to where we started. More and more fan favorites are portrayed in raunchy trailers, giving excited hopefuls the nourishment they need to carry on while Universal Studios and E. L. James take their sweet time making their decisions.
First up, it's Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer stealing the show. Fans have deemed both Bomer, 35, and Bledel, 31, too old to play the young, sex-entranced characters that have spawned "50 Shades" nation, but they certainly look the part in this fan-made trailer. Not only does the mock-preview show the erotic moments that fans should expect, but it also shows several intimate scenes between the two lovers, a shade that other trailers have yet to capture. The trailer also hosts a handful of other stars. Ryan Reynolds is featured as Jason Taylor, along with Bradley Cooper as Jack Hyde. Some fans are really getting ambitious with their "50 Shades" aspirations.
Next up are "Game of Thrones'" Emilia Clarke and Henry Cavill, who will star as Superman in this summer's "Man of Steel." The powerful, dominated role as one of the world's most celebrated superheroes serves as a perfect precursor to Christian Grey, because Christian Grey and Superman are one and the same, right? As diligent fans sit and wait for official "50 Shades" casting news, these fan-made trailers help to ease the pain.
