Harrison Ford has revealed that his filming experience of the upcoming "Anchorman 2" was awkward and that his role is so small that it could be adequately cut out of the film.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the veteran thespian responded that his time on the set of the sequel comedy was "bizarre. They weren't all in the scene I did. It was just what's his name and the applesauce girl."
It was eventually clarified that "what's his name" was the film's star Will Ferrell and "applesauce girl" was in fact Christina Applegate.
In addition to the mix-up, Ford stated, "It's easy enough to cut out. It's not critical."
There was no new information on Ford's involvement on the upcoming "Star Wars" films. Ford previously stated that he was involved but during press rounds for his upcoming "42" he decided to stop talking.
"I don't feel anything at the moment yet," the 70-year old stated when asked how he felt about the sequels and spinoffs of the "Star Wars movies."
Franchise creator George Lucas previously revealed Ford's involvement in the sequels during an interview with Bloomberg BusinessWeek. "We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison -- or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, 'Look, this is what's going on," Lucas said. When Ford was asked to comment on Lucas' statement, "the star made the zipping-my-lips sign" according to Screen Crush.
When asked about playing Han Solo, Ford replied, "Um, I don't even want to discuss that. It's great. Ain't it great?"
Ford's upcoming "42" will be released in theaters on April 12, 2013.
