The fourth episode of "The Voice" saw competition heat up with the coaches continuing to fight for the best singers in the competition.
The first performer of the night was Audrey Karrasch who had Blake Shelton and Usher turn around. Usher and Blake complimented her, but Audrey was blatant about her love for Usher.
Brandon Roush was the next singer to perform. The coaches took some time to decide on him and only Shakira ended up turning around. Shakira welcomed him to her team and Rouch was thrilled to be working with her. Shakira said his voice was exquisite and was surprised that no one else turned around for him.
The next singer was a street artist Betsy Barta. However, no one picked her because she sang a difficult song by Adele. Betsy cried and prompted her coach, Adam Levine, to hug her and tell her to come back next season. Other artists who were not picked were Jewl Anguay, Ginette Claudette, and Chris Johnson.
Patrick Dodd was the next performer. Shakira and Adam turned around after a few minutes into the song. Shakira told him to never underestimate a Colombian woman and would focus on making him a superstar. Adam said he had a lot of respect for him and told him that he would help him become a great artist. Patrick decided to pick Adam regardless of Shakira's comments.
Trevor Davis was next picked by Blake, while C. Perkins was added to Shakira's team. Agina Alvarez returned to the show and was picked by Adam even though she sang a Shakira song.
The next singer was Orlando Dixon and Usher picked him by the end of the song. No one else turned around but Usher welcomed him because he had a greet tone. Dixon was really excited because he grew up listening to Usher and was his idol.
The final artist of the night was Youtube sensation Savannah Berry. Adam turned around followed by Shakira and Blake. Blake said he was very fascinated by her, while Adam said she was really good. Shakira interrupted and said that the other two were jaded and almost deaf. Adam gave it his all, but Shakira said she was going to win the season. Blake said that Miranda Lambert was his wife because it was Savannah's biggest inspiration. After all the bickering by the coaches Savannah eventually went with Blake.
At the end of the night Adam obtained two artists putting his team at eight while Shakira also took two artists and put her tally to nine singers. Usher also landed two singers and has eight artists while Blake currently stands at seven singers about obtaining two.
"The Voice" will continue next week on Monday and Tuesday and will air the final blind auditions.
