Dancing With The Stars 2013: Contestant Kellie Pickler Wows Judges And Fans With 'Footloose' Performance

Country star Kellie Pickler stole the spotlight during Monday night's prom-themed episode of "Dancing With The Stars."

The show began as the couples performed an introductory dance forming a big circle where each star showed off their dance skills in a short solo performance to Fatboy Slim's "Rockafeller Skank."

During the actual performances, Pickler wowed the judges with a lively and sharp routine to "Footloose" with her partner Derek Hough. "Sharper than a samurai sword" raved judge Bruno Tonioli. "Ridiculously amazing," cheered judge Carrie Ann Inaba. 

The "American Idol" star and Hough earned a score of 25 out of 30, the highest rating of the evening.  Viewers were just as amazed by Pickler's spectacular dance number and voted her as the "Prom Queen" via Twitter.  The hashtag #promkellie even began trending worldwide.

Disney star Zendaya Coleman and partner Val Chmerkovskiy gave the second best routine of the night and earned 24 points for their Viennese Waltz danced to "Que Sera Sera."

"That was as enchanting and charming as Venice in the moonlight," said Tonioli. "Overall, beautiful."
