After two Oscar nominations and a win, Jennifer Lawrence has vowed to remain the same down to earth person she was before fame.
After making headlines for tripping on the way to receive her Oscar and being candid on Red Carpets the actress told the Daily News "My family is not the kind of family that would ever let me turn into an a--hole or anything like that, so I am fortunate to have them" She added "I don't ever walk around feeling famous. I walk around feeling the exact same way I have walked around my entire life."
Lawrence also stated that fame is still unfamiliar to her and said "It's not my comfort zone, making movies is where I belong... That's where I'm comfortable, that's my home. When you put me on a red carpet or on a stage, I turn into Chihuahua Jennifer."
However the actress stated that she has been able to accomplish many things in the past year. She added "A lot of things that I didn't even think could ever be possible for me have happened, all in a year," she said. "It's been overwhelming, but in a wonderful way."
Lawrence was last seen in "The Hunger Games" and "Silver Linings Playbook" for which she won her Oscar. She is currently filming David O. Russell's Abscam drama where she will reunite with her "Playbook" co-star Bradley Cooper and also join Amy Adams and Christian Bale. She will also star in "Serena" also with Cooper and reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." Lawrence is also set to reunite with Russell on "Ends of the Earth," a film that will be distributed by the Weinstein Company.
