Earlier this week, three-days passes for one of the summer's biggest festivals sold out in minutes. At first glance, this may not seem too surprising, except the lineup hadn't even been released. Several headliners had been confirmed and rumors circulated around other potential artists, but ticket buyers made their purchases relatively blind.
The official lineup is set to be announced April 9, the same day single-day passes go on sale, but it now looks like it's leaked early. Nothing has been confirmed, but Lollapalooza attendees may now learn if their purchases are worthwhile.
A poster for Lollapalooza 2013 gives fans a blurry glimpse at who may be gracing the stage at this summer's festival. Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and The Killers were previously as headliners, but if the poster is correct, fans can expect to see the likes of Nine Inch Nails, New Order and Lana Del Rey take the stage as well. As a pleasant surprise, it looks like legendary British pop band The Cure has also been added to the bill, making this year's Lollapalooza one to remember.
Although the official Lollapalooza lineup will be announced April 9, Andrew Barber of FakeShoreDrive tweeted that "The Lolla list is the real deal. Confirmed."
Who knows? Regardless, the leaked lineup is sure to cause excited frenzy and speculation as April 9 approaches. Check out the full unconfirmed leaked lineup below.
