Fans have desperately been waiting for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" trailer. We've seen character portraits, posters and fan-made previews, but nothing official. The film hits theaters in November, so fans are expecting a trailer release to scratch their itch through the summer. Well, it's coming. The release is near. Actor Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair in "The Hunger Games" series, has confirmed that he has seen it with his own two eyes.
During an interview at the Jameson Empire Awards, Claflin's excitement got the best of him as he leaked to reporters the news of the official trailer. When asked if he had seen any footage from the film, he told the press "I have not seen it, I've seen a trailer may - maybe, maybe! Uh, maybe I shouldn't have said that but yeah."
Claflin didn't stop there. "But I'm very, very proud of this. It's one of those things I'm really excited to share with the world! It's a fantastic feat, I think. Francis Lawrence is truly a wonderful director. So to have him touch on this franchise is a great, is a great thing."
The announcement of the completed trailer isn't the only big "Hunger Games" news to shake the Jameson Empire Awards. Jennifer Lawrence also scooped up an award for Best Actress award for her work in first "The Hunger Games" film. The starlet is certainly here to stay. As many fans are aware, she also won the Oscar for 'Best Actress' for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook."
So are we soon to see "The Hunger Games Catching Fire" trailer? Fans have certainly waited long enough. Filming has been wrapped for weeks. It's the natural next step. It's likely that more than one is in the making, so why not give us a little taste? Please?
